Using the Date Picker
The Date Picker appears in the upper right corner of every page in WISdom that supports date and time filtering. It controls the time window for all data displayed on the current screen. All screens default to the last 7 days when first opened. If a different range is selected, that range persists as you navigate between screens within the same module.
Select the date range displayed in the upper right corner to open the Date Picker.
Selecting dates on the calendar
Section titled “Selecting dates on the calendar”The calendar displays the current month with the active date range highlighted. Select any date to set the start date, then select a second date to set the end date. Use the left and right arrows beside the month name to navigate forward or backward one month at a time.
Quick select
Section titled “Quick select”The Quick Select drop-down below the calendar provides six preset date ranges, all calculated from the current date and time and anchored to the end time:
- Last 2 hours
- Last 4 hours
- Last 24 hours
- Last 48 hours
- Last 7 days
- Last 14 days
Selecting an option sets the end time to the current time and calculates the start time by working backward from that anchor.
Note
Some screens do not display data for time ranges shorter than one hour. Query Statistics, for example, requires a minimum range of one hour.
Start time and end time
Section titled “Start time and end time”The Start Time and End Time fields allow you to set a specific time for the selected start and end dates. Each field includes a Quick Select drop-down with half-hour increment options, or you can type a time directly down to the minute.
Applying and resetting
Section titled “Applying and resetting”- Select Apply to apply the selected date and time range to the current screen
- Select Cancel to close the panel without making changes
- Select Reset to return the date and time range to the default 7-day range for the current screen
