My Views and Global Views
Opening the Views drop-down displays two sections:
- My Views — views saved to your account only, not visible to other users.
- Global Views — views available to all users in your organization. Any user can create a Global View.
Saving a View
Click Save Current View at the bottom of the Views drop-down to open the Save Current View dialog. Provide a name and optional description. If saving as a Global View, a description is required so that other users understand the view's intent. The active filters and tags are displayed and can be removed before saving, but new filters cannot be added at this stage.
Two options are available when saving:
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Set as Global View | Makes the view available to all users. This can only be set during creation. An existing My View cannot be converted to a Global View; it must be saved again and set as global. |
| Set as Default View | Automatically applies this view when you open WISdom and move between pages. This setting is per-account and does not affect other users, even if the view is a Global View. |
Editing a View
Click the pencil icon next to a view name to open the Edit View dialog. You can update the view name, description, and default view setting, and remove filters from the view. New filters cannot be added through the edit dialog.
To add filters to an existing view, load the view, apply the additional filters, then click Save Current View. You must save it with a unique name. To retain the original name, first delete the original, then save the new version.
Deleting a View
Open the edit dialog for the view and click Delete.
