Environment - Instances
The Environment - Instances module offers a centralized view of your SQL Server environment, providing insights into editions, versions, space usage, performance, and cost analysis. This helps you:
- Identify SQL Server versions in use
- Pinpoint high-cost operations
- Monitor transaction efficiency
- Track data growth trends
- Manage instance capacity
By default, data is shown for the past 7 days. You can adjust the time range using the date filter at the top of the page.
Filters
Filters at the top of the page apply across both the Overview and Details views:
- Views: Quickly apply saved filter combinations
- Tag: Filter instances by assigned tags
- Instance: Select specific instances to display
- Edition: Filter by SQL Server edition (Standard, Enterprise, etc.) — available only on the Overview page
Use the Reset button to clear all filters and return to the default view.
Pages

Overview:
Displays infrastructure, throughput, and performance metrics across all monitored instances. This is the default landing page. -
Details:
Shows metrics for a single selected host. If multiple instances are selected, no data will be displayed.
Filters remain consistent across both pages to ensure a unified experience.
