We are pleased to announce version 25.0.0 of Wisdom! This release note showcases the details of the enhancements and the associated UI changes.

Features/Enhancements

New Inventory Section

Category: UI/UX improvement

Host, Database, and Instance "Lists" that were previously located as sub-sections under the Environments --> Host, Database, and Instance sections have been moved into a dedicated section called Inventory. For example, Environments --> Hosts --> Lists is now located under Inventory --> Hosts.

New Client Collector Installer V2

Category: Installation

New client collector installer uses an MSI installer that now requires a registration key, generated by the installer user from the Admin page. Updated installation instructions can be found here. This installer now requires .NET Core 8 instead of .NET Framework 4.7+. A complete list of requirements can be found here.

Overview Landing Page Renamed and Moved

Category: UI/UX improvement

The Environment --> Overview page has been moved to the top level of the left navigation bar and renamed Home.

Page Load Performance Improvements

Site wide optimizations were applied to improve page response time.

Query Statistics chart update

The Query Statistics ->Top Instances by Efficiency chart was updated from Line to Bar Chart

Updated WISdom icon for browser tab and shortcut

A new icon for WISdom portal was introduced which will be visible in any browser shortcut and on your browser tab icon.

Bug Fixes

Date and Time Display Fix

Date and time on Instances, Blocking, Deadlocks, Jobs and Resource health chart now displays as Year Month Day Week HH:MM

Missing CPU Column Fixed

The CPU column was hidden in some situations in the Instances->Instances by Performances table.

Other Miscellaneous Fixes

• Role Column is removed in Admin Console ->Team screen
• “Last Login” in Admin Console is displayed with full date and year
• Azure managed resources had some display issues that have been fixed
