Setup Sequence
Step 1 — Install the Data Collector
The WISdom Data Collector is the bridge between your SQL Server environment and the WISdom platform. Installing it is the first step before any data can be collected or displayed in WISdom.
Step 2 — Add Resources for Collection
With the Data Collector installed, add the SQL Server instances WISdom should monitor and confirm that it can connect to them.
Step 3 — Set Up Alerting
Once data is flowing, configure alerts so WISdom notifies the right people when conditions worth investigating are detected in your environment.
